Description:

I love how these type of moths have a naturally forming pattern of a skull on their thorax. Seeing different patterns and images in nature feels surreal and that excites me. This is a mixed media, 2D layered paper effect piece. Using watercolour pencils, pastels and inks, sealed with a protective acrylic spray. The back ground image is draw directly onto the back of the frame, very much incorporating it into the art piece. I try to reuse thing I have or find into my art, to give them meaning and purpose once more. (This piece is best suited to being stood on a sideboard or shelf. As there is no hanging attachment.)

UK Shipping: UK shipping/delivery costs are shown above. On payment for your order the artist will package and send the work by tracked courier.

Shipping outside the UK: Please contact the artist for a bespoke quotation for your particular delivery address. Delivery costs outside the UK will need to be paid direct to the artist before shipping. All Customs duties are the responsibility of the Buyer.

Returns: With the exception of any Commissions or other Made to Order Artwork, once you have received your artwork there is a period of 14 days in which you may change your mind about the purchase and notify ArtMakers in writing by email to admin@artmakers.uk that you wish to return the work and claim a refund. See also FAQ’s and ArtMakers’ Buyer Terms and Conditions Paragraphs 9-12.
You then have a further 14 days in which to return the work to the artist unused, in the same condition in which it was received and in its original packaging.

Refunds: Full Refunds are dependent on returned Artwork being received in the same condition as it was sent. See FAQ’s and ArtMakers’ Buyer Terms and Conditions Paragraphs 9-12 for more details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long will it take for my artwork to arrive?

A: In the UK we expect all work to be delivered within 7-10 days. In most cases it is considerably less than this. Please use our website message system to contact the artist or maker if you have a specific delivery request. Delivery times outside the UK, will depend on the method of delivery and any customs issues.

Q: What if my artwork arrives and I don’t like it?

A: You have 14 days to change your mind about your purchase and notify ArtMakers in writing by sending an email to us at admin@artmakers.uk to say that you wish to return your artwork. You then have a further 14 days to send the artwork back to the artist (See also the note under Returns above and ArtMakers’ Buyer Terms and Conditions Paragraphs 9-12

Q: Who is responsible for paying return shipping costs?

A: In most circumstances, you the Buyer would be responsible for paying any return shipping.

Q: What if the artwork is damaged when I receive it?

A: Please photograph any damage to packaging and/or artwork and send to ArtMakers at admin@artmakers.uk explaining the problem. A senior member of the team will then contact you to agree the next steps.
