Wendy Harrison

Wendy Harrison is a mixed media painter based in North Devon. She has worked in design and illustration for over 30 years, building a renowned business designing personalised art and children's books. She has now returned to traditional painting using various mediums including acrylic, oil, coloured pencil, ink and pastel. She works on gesso panels, wood and raw linen, building up layers of texture using bold brushmarks and splashes of contrasting colour. Wendy paints still life and landscape, especially the coasts of North and South Devon and was recently a wildcard entry in Sky Arts Landscape painter of the year.
