I moved back to Northam in 2022 after nearly 30 years in the midlands in public service as a police officer and county council manager.
the return home has inspired me to pick up my pens, pencils and brushes again after a long sabbatical and I now concentrate on work focussed on the intricacies of our local area.
in particular, everything about Westward Ho! Inspires me, from its exclamation mark, its literature, its beaches and its famous pebbles.
i use acrylics in my painting and pen and watercolour in my sketches and local scenes that I reproduce on pages of Charles Kingsley's Westward Ho! book
