London born and educated in the UK and Southern Africa, I studied at the Johannesburg School of Arts and went on to study graphic art. After spending some years working freelance in a few different disciplines in different parts of the world, I settled in North Devon a couple of decades ago.
I have a deep interest in capturing the human form in graphite and charcoal, from portraits of the head to full body poses, with a focus on the subtlety of personality and mood. My paintings in watercolour and acrylic are inspired by the natural and man made surroundings of North Devon, from seas to trees to ancient hidden doorways.
