Chris Gill

Living close to the beautiful beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde Bay and with Exmoor visible from the back garden, North Devon provides an endless supply of inspiration and opportunity to Chris.

Chris paints in oils using board and canvas supports. His work is often on the spot, outdoors for landscapes and seascapes, however, he loves the studio for still life paintings. He's happy getting a few snaps for reference but prefers to paint from life directly where possible.

Chris studied at Reading College of Arts in the early '80's, and has drawn and painted ever since he can remember.
